NJ Native Pat Miller Named 2023 Outstanding Woman Builder By Women Builders Council
Pat Miller, owner of Jackson, NJ-based Blue Diamond Construction, has been honored with the 2023 Outstanding Women Builders Award by the Women Builders Council.
At the annual award ceremony in New York City, construction industry leaders, public and private sector decision-makers and the women of Women Builders Council (WBC) gathered to celebrate Miller and the other winners for their role inspiring the next generation of women builders.
WBC is proud to recognize Pat Miller for her work within her organization and her influence within the industry. Miller’s Blue Diamond Construction is one of the leading commercial metal framing companies in New Jersey. A construction company owner for more than 30 years, Miller also is the author of the recently published memoir, Kicking Karma’s Ass which recounts her journey of rising up from the ashes after losing four very important people in her life in three years and nearly her business too.
Being honored as an Outstanding Woman Builder recognizes Miller’s remarkable achievements, leadership, and innovation in the construction industry, highlighting her significant impact and dedication to paving the way for excellence in a traditionally male-dominated field.
“Thank you Women Builders Council, not just for recognizing my work, but for all of your important work creating opportunities for women, changing attitudes about the role of women in construction and leading the transformation of the industry,” said Miller. “I look forward to continuing the effort together.”
WBC’s Champions Awards is an annual empowering event that recognizes the outstanding contributions of female professionals, from architects and engineers to project managers and tradeswomen, who have shattered barriers and enriched the industry.
