AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR AND BUSINESSWOMAN PAT MILLER
TO ATTEND COLLINGSWOOD BOOK FESTIVAL
Honored by New York Book Festival for her Best-Selling Memoir
JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J., OCTOBER 3, 2024 – New Jersey native Pat Miller, author of the award-winning memoir, Kicking Karma’s Ass: Unbelievable Stories of Strength, Resilience and Perseverance, All Told with a Twist of Humor, will be meeting and greeting readers of all ages at the 22nd annual Collingswood (N.J.) Book Festival on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Located at booth 149 on Lees Avenue off Haddon Avenue, Miller will share stories from her life as an entrepreneur, woman in construction, mother and wife. As attendees will learn, her life is full and has been full of surprises. Several years ago, those surprises became almost unbearable. Within the space of three years, Miller lost both her parents, her brother and the love of her life – her husband and business partner, Ray. In the process of caring for them all, she almost lost her business, too.
It was the impetus to write her book which recounts her journey of “phoenixing up” and out of grief to rebuild her life – both personally and professionally. The book was chosen as a 2024 International Impact Book Award and was named a runner up in the 2024 New York Book Festival.
Miller will be selling and signing copies of her book, as well as other Kicking Karma’s Ass merchandise.
